Dr. David Coleman, Director and Curator of the Wittliff Collection will host the PBKAAGA Fall General Meeting on Sunday, November 5, 2017, on the campus of Texas State University in San Marcos. The meeting will be held in the Alkek Library, starting at 3:00 PM.
Dr. David Coleman joined the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University - San Marcos in October 2011. Prior to this, he served as the chief curator of photography at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at The University of Texas at Austin, where he also served as a department head from 1996. After growing up in Dallas, Texas, he attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, where he earned his bachelor's degree. He earned an M.A. in Art History from Hunter College, City University of New York, and then earned his Ph.D. in Art History, concentrating on the history of photography, from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
